On November 8, 2025, TrustServers was at WordCamp Athens 2025 at OTE Academy, and the truth is that the energy of the day exceeded our expectations! Our company made a strong showing as a Premium Sponsor, actively supporting the open-source community and WordPress, which powers 40% of the global web and holds nearly 60% of the CMS market.
On our infrastructure we host everything from corporate sites and personal blogs to highly demanding WooCommerce e-shops with thousands of products and high speed requirements. For us, performance, uptime, security and support are not just theory, but everyday practice.
Engaging with the community
At our booth (in the networking room), we had the opportunity to talk with community members, developers, designers, agencies and e-shop owners. We exchanged views on WordPress hosting, the new capabilities of AI, speed, security and website optimization. It was a pleasure to discuss the issues we solve on a daily basis, such as:
How do we measure the speed of a WordPress site correctly and objectively?
How do we ensure that a WooCommerce store can withstand sudden traffic spikes during peak hours?
What difference does moving from conventional hosting to a truly optimized environment make?
How do we protect a site from attacks without slowing down speed and the user experience?
Why does a website remain slow, even though a caching plugin has been enabled?
At the same time, a special moment for our whole team was the presentation by Eleni Tsertou, Site Reliability Engineer at TrustServers, on the WordCamp stage. Eleni took on the task of demystifying a key technology for speed, the Persistent Object Cache (e.g. Redis), explaining in simple terms how it makes the difference.
We actively support the WordPress community
For the past 20 years that we have been active in this field, we have believed in Open Source Software. In the value of sharing knowledge and in the community that develops it. Our sponsorship of WordCamp Athens is, for us, a way to show our dedication to the open-source community.
A warm thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth. If we didn’t manage to meet in person this year, we’ll renew our appointment for next year – at WordCamp Athens 2026!
