How to Install WordPress on my Domain Name via DirectAdmin
- Access DirectAdmin by typing your domain (domainname.tld:2222) in your browser and log in using your username and password.

- Select WordPress Manager from the Advanced Features menu.
Then click the install button for the domain where you want to install WordPress.![]()
- Click Advanced mode to fill in all the necessary information.
Enter a title, administrator login credentials for the backend, and choose whether to select an existing database or create a new one.
Then click +CREATE.![]()
- A warning will then appear informing you that existing files may be lost during the WordPress installation.
Click the CONFIRM button.![]()
- After a few seconds, the WordPress installation will complete and a message will appear with the login credentials for the WordPress backend (url, username, password).

- Finally, in the WordPress Manager tab, you will see that there is now one WordPress installation.
From there you can get information such as:
– the domain where the installation is located,
– the path where the WordPress files are stored,
– the WordPress version,
– the theme being used
– Auto update default On (we recommend setting it to Off or Minor Only)![]()
