How to change password in an email account?
- Log in to the DirectAdmin panel by typing your domain domainname.tld:2222 and log in.

- Go to E-Mail Accounts from the E-mail Manager menu and find the account where you want to change the password.
Click the three vertical dots to the right of the email account you want and select “Change Password/Username”.![]()
- Carefully fill in the Password field and click SAVE.
Alternatively, you can click the random button and DirectAdmin will generate a new random password for you. The new random password will be displayed on the next page after you click SAVE.![]()

It is important to use only strong passwords everywhere, which do not use dictionary words, are many characters long, and include uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.
After changing the password, all your devices (computers, mobile phones, tablets) that were receiving email using the old password must be updated accordingly.
