How to Add a Domain to Your DirectAdmin Account

  1. Log in to DirectAdmin by typing your domain in your browser, for example domainname.tld:2222, and entering your username and password.

  2. Go to Account Manager, then Domain Setup, and click “+ ADD NEW”.

  3. On the page that appears, type the domain you want to create and leave all available options selected.
    Then click the “CREATE” button to create the new domain.
  4. In the Domain Management page you can now see the new domain alongside any already existing ones. By selecting any of these domains you can rename it, set it as the default (which makes it appear first upon the next login to DirectAdmin), or delete it.

From now on, via FTP or through the File Manager, you will see a new folder inside the domains directory named after your new domain, which has its own public_html folder that serves as the root directory.
