How do I add a subdomain to my domain?

1. Log in to DirectAdmin by typing your domain domainname.tld:2222 and enter your username and password.
   
   
2. Go to Subdomain Management and click “+ ADD SUBDOMAIN”.
   
   
3. In the window that appears, type the subdomain you want to create and select the method in which the subdomain’s root folder will be stored. We recommend the default option, which creates a separate public_html directory rather than a subfolder inside the existing public_html of your domain, which is what the legacy option does.
4. Click the “ADD SUBDOMAIN” option.

You will now see via FTP inside the domains folder a new folder with the name of your subdomain, which has its own public_html, and inside it you can upload the files you want for your subdomain.
