E-mail Settings

You can connect to your email account both from webmail and from any email client application (for example Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail on Mac or iPhone, Android K9, other applications on mobile or tablet, etc.).
Below we provide indicative settings that guide you to set the proper configurations to the email client you chose. The following is an example, where we assume that your domain is: example.org, that you are setting up the email: info@example.org and that the email server is mail.example.org.
Obviously instead of example.org you must enter your own domain in the settings.

Incoming mail:

Account type: POP3 or IMAP
Incoming Mail Server: mail.example.org
Port: for IMAP we use 993, for POP3 we use 995
Authentication required: we select (depending on our email client application) “requires authentication” or “normal password”
username: info@example.org (the full email account

is always required, not just info)
password: [ your password ]

We also select the “SSL/TLS” option.

Outgoing mail:

Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.example.org
Port: 587
Authentication required: we select (depending on our email client application) “requires authentication” or “normal password”
username: info@example.org
password: [ your password ]

We select the “STARTTLS” option.

Also, your webmail works in parallel for access to your email account through the browser, where if example.org is your website, it works at the address:
http://example.org/webmail

Technically, the ports that work for email are:

POP3: 110
POP3 SECURE: 995
IMAP: 143
IMAP SECURE: 993
SMTP: 587 or 465

NOTE: We repeat that in the above example.org is an example. Wherever it says “example.org”, you enter your own domain.
